Have you ever wondered what Sea Sami culture is, or why some areas have signs in Sami while others don't?
Visit the Centre for Northern People and get to know Sea Sami history and traditions better! Join a guided tour of our exhibitions, where you can learn more about the Sami language, culture and history. The experience continues with an atmospheric storytelling session in the gammen, where you will hear about Sami ancient beliefs, bear hunting and much more.
In addition, you will get to taste traditional Sea Sami snacks and enjoy freshly brewed campfire coffee (or tea). Remember to dress warmly, as the gammen experience takes place outdoors.
