Booking conditions for online booking

Please read the conditions carefully as you will be bound by them.

Visit Lyngenfjord AS will forward your booking to the relevant supplier of the activity, accommodation or transport you ordered. The supplier is responsible to deliver the product you order in agreement with the description, and any claims relating to accommodation or activities must be directed to the hotel/lodge or the organizer. Visit Lyngenfjord AS is not responsible for the accommodation or activity correspond with what is ordered.

If you need to contact us before or during your trip, we are available Monday-Friday 09:00 - 16:00 (4 PM). You may contact us via email or by phone +47 77 21 08 50.

Booking and payment

Payment for the entire price (100%) must take place at the same time as the booking is made – except booking of package offers. The booking is confirmed when your payment is processed and you will automatically receive a confirmation via e-mail. Please check that the details of this confirmation are correct. Visit Lyngenfjord AS is responsible for the transaction, and that the correct amount is withdrawn from your account. If there should be a problem with your credit card, we will contact you. If we are not able to get in contact with you, your reservation will be cancelled.

Customer cancellation/changes

In order to cancel or change your reservation, you need to contact Visit Lyngenfjord AS (Not the supplier!) to cancel or change your booking.Please also note that in case of cancelation the following fees apply:

  • Cancellation can be made until 30 days before arrival with 100 % refund
  • Cancellation between 15 and 29 days before arrival will be made with 75 % refund
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before arrival will be made with 50 % refund
  • Cancellation less than 6 days before arrival will not be refunded.

A change from your booking is regarded as a cancellation.

In the event that you do not show up or cancel too late, you will be charged the full amount. For bookings involving more than one day, refunds will not be provided to any unused days. The customer is liable for any additional charges incurred (e.g. for damage).

Booking and payment of package offers

When you book a package offer, you have to pay 30% deposit. The booking is confirmed when your payment is processed and you will automatically receive a confirmation via e-mail. 20 days before arrival, you will receive a payment note that you have to pay the remaining amount. If the remaining amount is not paid 14 days before arrival, the booking will be cancelled.

Cancellation package offers

A cancellation of a package offer is subject to the following fees:

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival – 0%
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 59 days before arrival – 30% (the deposit paid)
  • Cancellations made less than 13 days before arrival – 100% of the total price
Insurance/cancellation protection

We recommend all our customers to ensure they have good insurances before commencing their trip in case of illness, lost luggage, accidents and similar incidents.

Our Suppliers

We are responsible for payment to our suppliers for your booking. Our suppliers are responsible for their part of your program, including complete insurances, certificate staff etc. in accordance with the laws and rules that may apply for the supplier.

Cancellations/Major changes from suppliers

Cancellations or major changes may occur if:

  • Conditions out of our control; the weather, accidents etc.
  • Conditions for the booking is not met; minimum number of participants (2), age etc.

If this type of cancellation happens, and you do not accept the alternative provided to you, the supplier refund 100 % of the cost for that part of the reservation. In order to ensure a good experience for you, the supplier might have to change minor details in your reservation. This may be caused by weather conditions.


If you encounter errors or discrepancies along the way in relation to the travel documents you have received, and the relationship cannot be corrected on the spot, please make a written complaint directly to the supplier and us as soon as possible.
