Ice climbing - Lyngen Ski og Klatring
Join us for an unforgettable winter experience: ice climbing at a frozen waterfall in Arctic Norway! Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced climber, this trip is designed to suit all levels. No previous climbing experience is required.
The tour starts with a scenic 1.5 km hike (approx. 30–60 minutes) to the icefall, where we set up climbing ropes and light a bonfire to keep warm. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea before gearing up for the climb.
Climbing is done on a top rope system, meaning it's safe and adjustable — you choose how high you want to go. The frozen waterfall typically offers both easier and more challenging routes, making it a great adventure for everyone.
If conditions are right, we may end the day under the northern lights — a truly magical Arctic moment.
