Experience sperm whale and local wildlife outside Skjervøy - Dervola Adventure

In our robus boat, our guide will take you out to see whales and wildlife up close. The boat has room out on deck to watch as well as a cabin in the front of the boat.

Our location in Skjervøy is most well-known for the sheer number of whales that follow the overwintering Herring into the fjords and stay in the area between November and January. The same fjords are also now the area where a large number of Sperm whales have decided to visit and stay. Sperm whales are usually found off shore in very deep water (1000 plus metres) where they typically spend more than 45 minutes beneath the surface, making them hard to spot!

Our local skippers know every corner of the sea outside of Skjervøy and knows exactly where to go to spot the whales and local wildlife. The trips suits both families and groups of friends.

On our trips the nature experience is in focus! And we take care when approaching the whales.
