This is the perfect getaway if you would like to experience the combination of polar night skitouring in the Lyngen Alps with the classic winteractivities such as whalesafari, dogsledding and northern lights hunting.
The Lyngen Experience Lodge located by the fjord on the north of the Lyngen peninsula offers a magical stay. Here you can relax after an active day with good food, sauna and jacuzzi.
The price is from 13 000 NOK per person with the following program:
Thursday:
Welcome and dinner at the Lyngen Experience Lodge at 18:00
Friday:
Skitouring in the Lyngen Alps during the day and dogsledding in the evening, maybe we'll be so lucky to see the northern lights.
Saturday:
Whalesafari during the day and evening skitouring with headlamps.
Sunday:
After breakfast it is time to say good bye.
Price: 15 000 NOK per person in a single room, 13 000 NOK per person in a double room (if you are from the same kohort)

Due to covid-19 and safety measures, the lodge operates at half capasity and we will only take 4 guests per guide.
Who does the trip suit for?
Weather and ski conditions can be demanding in January. This trip suits those who have experience with ski touring and is comfortable with skiing outside of prepared trails and poor visibility. In addition to standard skitouring and avalanche equipment you will need a headlamp with at least 2000 lumen. If you would like to borrow an headlamp or skitouring equipment please mention it in your booking request.
We can also arrange for transport from Tromsø airport and provide an extra skitouring day on sunday.
