Snowshoe hike along the Lyngen Alps - XLyngen

We will take you for a snowshoe walk in the valleys of the Lyngen Alps or along the coastline with beautiful views of the open sea.A fantastic tour along the fjord towards the beginning of the Lyngen Alps, at the most northernly point where they meet the sea. We will walk on snow shoes through an exposed landscape that is rich in culture. Here you travel through our history told by your guide.

You can experience the real Arctic nature and wildlife. If you are lucky, you may see eagles, foxes, hares,sea otter, grouse or moose. In addition, you can enjoy the change in winter light and Arctic weather conditions. Midway on the hike we stop to enjoy the lunchbag out in nature and warm drink. The guide will tell you stories from the culture and local village.


On this snowshoe hike in the northernmost part of the Lyngen Alps, you can experience the real Arctic nature and wildlife. If you are lucky, you may see eagles, foxes, hares,sea otter, grouse or moose. 

However, the view of the open sea and the majestic Lyngen Alps is awesome. In addition, you can enjoy the change in

winter light and Arctic weather conditions. Midway on the hike we stop to enjoy the lunchbag out in nature and warm drink. The guide will tell you stories from the culture and local village .This way you can feel and explore how we live on

the top of the world.

If you want to extend your day we can offer a Floating sauna experience in addition after your tour and you can have a later departure to Tromsø. you will then be back at 18.30 in citysentre. This will be extra fee, ask in advance before booking.
