Snowmobile excursion into the wilderness - daytime tour with North Experience
Upon arrival at Basecamp, we dress in warm winter gear and begin the adventure with safety instructions and a practical demonstration. It is then time to follow our 20* km snowmobiling track that leads you to the snow-covered mountains. We will stop during the trip to take photos and play in the snow. You will drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile and plenty of opportunities to switch places during the two-hour snowmobiling adventure.
After driving back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, we will serve you a hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. After relaxing and warming up, it is time to head back to Tromso, or spend the night in one of our Aurora Huts.

Duration: 3,5 hours + transfer from Tromsø if you book this option (75 min each way), you will spend ca 2 hours on the snowmobile

Children: 12 - 15 years of age, minimum 140 cm can participate, but in order to drive a snowmobile you need a valid drivers license

If you book transfer from Tromsø:
Meeting time and place: 08:45 outside Scandic Tromsø, the Arctic Route bus leave at 09:00. Look for the Arctic Route bus towards Alta.
You will arrive in Hatteng at 10:15, right next to the North Experience Basecamp
Return to Tromsø: Departure from North Experience Basecamp at 16:10 and return to Tromsø ca 17:25
