Experience the magic of Sámi culture – step into the atmospheric lavvu and be taken on a journey through storytelling and the powerful art of joik, performed by Sámi in traditional gákti. Enjoy coffee brewed over the fire along with warm or cold drinks to set the perfect mood.
The evening may end beneath the stars – with a great chance of seeing the northern lights dance across the sky.

Day 1 Check in

Travel to Skibotn and check in at Lyngenfjord Hotel.

In the evening we invite you into the lavo where you will hear more about the sami in the area.

Maybe the northern lights will show up as well.


Day 2 Explore on your own or book an extra activity

Enjoy your breakfast in our restaurant before you either check out or if you are staying longer explore Skibotn or join in on different activities.
