Your journey begins with a bus ride from Tromsø, taking you through some of Northern Norway's most beautiful fjord landscapes. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic Lyngen Alps, snow-covered mountains, and charming villages along the fjord. Sit back, relax, and take in the spectacular scenery as you travel towards Skibotn and Lyngenfjord Hotel.

Meet and Feed Reindeer at Lyngenfjord Hotel:

Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from the hotel's hosts.

Your experience begins with a visit to the reindeer enclosure, where you can get up close to these beautiful animals, feed them, and capture wonderful photos. Reindeer have been an important part of life and culture in Northern Norway for generations, and this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about these fascinating Arctic animals.

After meeting the reindeer, you will be invited into the hotel's traditional Sámi-style lavvu tent. Here, you can enjoy the cosy atmosphere around a crackling fire, warm up with a delicious hot drink, and experience the peace and tranquillity that make winter in the Arctic so special.

Enjoy a Warm Lunch with Local Flavours:

After your outdoor experiences, a delicious lunch awaits you in the restaurant at Lyngenfjord Hotel.

You will be served the hotel's warm reindeer soup, inspired by local culinary traditions. This flavourful and comforting dish is the perfect way to warm up after a morning in the fresh Arctic air.

Visit an Authentic Husky Farm:

After lunch, the adventure continues with a short minibus ride to a nearby husky farm.

Here, you will enjoy an exciting encounter with the energetic and friendly sled dogs that are such an iconic part of Arctic life. Meet the dogs, cuddle playful puppies when possible, and learn more about how these incredible animals are trained and cared for.

Your hosts at the husky farm will share stories about life with the huskies, their remarkable enthusiasm for work, and the important role sled dogs have played throughout the history of the Arctic regions.

This visit offers a personal insight into everyday life at a husky kennel, along with plenty of wonderful photo opportunities.

Enjoy the Final Moments by Lyngenfjord:

After visiting the husky farm, you will return to Lyngenfjord Hotel. Here, you will have time to admire the spectacular views of the fjord and surrounding mountains, take a few final photos, or visit the hotel's souvenir shop before the bus takes you back to Tromsø.

11:50 – Departure from the Kennel and Transfer to Lyngenfjord Hotel

12:00 – Meet and Feed Reindeer at Lyngenfjord Hotel

Visit the reindeer enclosure, where you can meet the reindeer, feed them, and take photos.

12:30 – Relaxation in a Traditional Lavvu

Enjoy the warmth of the fire, a hot drink, and the cosy Arctic atmosphere.

13:00 – Lunch at Lyngenfjord Hotel

Enjoy a delicious, warming reindeer soup served in the hotel's restaurant.

14:00 – Bus Departure to Tromsø
