Visiting Kronebutikken, in the centre of Sørkjosen, is an experience. In the house from the beginning of the 19th century you will find a shop with local handicraft, local food and books, as well as the workshop from Reisa Skinnprodukter (handicraft with fur and leather).
Description
Reisa Skinnprodukter is the business of Hilde Lund, a local craftswoman who makes jewelry, clothes and other crafts inspired by her sami - kven - norwegian heritage.You can buy these unique handicrafts and see how they are made in Kronebutikken. It is also possible to order your own jewellry/handicraft design after your wishes.
Additionally you can buy local food and books.
During the summer months it is also possible to buy a cup of coffee and a snack and sit outdoors.
