Kayaking trip on the Lyngenfjord with Lyngsfjord Alperein
Join us for an unforgettable three-hour kayaking adventure led by an experienced, English-speaking local guide. Paddle through the serene waters of one of Norway’s most breathtaking fjords and immerse yourself in its raw beauty. Our guide will share insider knowledge and stories, giving you an authentic taste of the region’s culture and nature.
Our journey begins in the innermost part of the stunning Lyngenfjord, also known as Storfjorden. We start at Elvevoll, but if the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll choose a safer and more suitable location to ensure a great experience.
After a thorough safety briefing, we’ll set off on a two-hour kayaking trip across the fjord. Depending on the weather and the group’s preferences, we’ll explore some of the most beautiful spots in the inner Lyngenfjord. Along the way, we’ll go ashore to enjoy a cozy campfire, brew traditional campfire coffee, and relax in nature. If you’d like, feel free to bring your own packed lunch to enjoy by the fire.
For a smoother experience, we recommend participants have a wet card, but it’s not mandatory. Don’t worry – we’ll provide clear instructions and prioritize safety throughout the adventure.
Included:
- Kayak with paddles and all safety equipment.
- Certified guide.
- Campfire coffee/snacks
Bring:
- Warm clothes
- Food to warm up on the campfire
Duration: We paddle for about two hours. The whole trip takes about three hours.
Age limit: We recommend the trip for guests over 13 years old. If you are younger, get in touch and we will see how we can make it. work. We also have some double kayaks for the youngest or those who do not want to paddle alone.
Start time: By appointment
