Husky hike with Activenorth

Inner Lyngenfjord, Skibotn

In the summer, it can be too warm to train our amazing huskies with carts in dog teams. That’s why it’s perfect to go hiking with them instead. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the fjord and mountains, you’ll find our kennel in Skibotn.On a husky hike, you’ll get up close and personal with our furry family members. Our guides are happy to tell you about dog sledding, the kennel’s operations, and more. Bring one of the husky with you, hike through stunning nature, and feel active together with us!

Description

The hike will last approximately 1 to 2 hour. (Depends on which trip we do)


We will make several stops along the way, where you are warmly welcome to help our guides give the dogs water. There will also be time for cuddles and photos with the dogs.


The hikes can be adapted to your preferred difficulty level and terrain.

Note: If desired, the hike can also be done without a dog!


Opening hours:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the summer months June, July and August.

Open from 10:00 AM. Time can be adjusted upon request.


Practical information

Included in the tour:

  • English-speaking guide.
  • Snacks, hot drinks – coffee and tea, water.
  • Guided hike in Skibotn.
  • Harness and waist belt.


We recommend dressing according to the weather, with clothing suitable for outdoor activities.


Minimum 2 people. Maximum 8 people.
