Have you ever dreamt of mushing your very own husky team in the Norwegian wilderness?The eager Alaskan husky dogs greet you with excited barks and wagging tails, ready to take you on an unforgettable journey. Strong, friendly, and full of energy, they work together with you to pull the sled through the Arctic landscape, guided by an experienced musher. We offer an adventure crafted with years of passion and experience of dog sledding.The trail leads into the peaceful valley of Skibotn, winding through snow-covered pine forests where soft light filters between the trees. As the terrain opens up, you glide into a world of pristine snow and towering white peaks.Ahead, the majestic Lyngen Alps rise dramatically, offering breathtaking views that make this journey truly unforgettable.

SEASON

1 December – 11 April (If the snow has not come, we drive with carts)  

Minimum 2 pers. Maximum 20 pers



MEETING POINT

08:00 outside Scandic Ishavshotel Tromsø, the Activenorth bus leaves at 08:15. Look for the Activenorth bus. Arrival in Skibotn ca 10:30.

Back in Tromsø ca 16.00.


DURATION OF ACTIVITY

3.5 hr at the Camp (Preparations, instructions, approx. 60 min dog sledding, lunch and relaxing at the camp) + transfer from Tromsø ca 2 hours each way.

NB! During December/early January it will be dark/partially dark during the dog sledding and you will get a headlamp for the trip.


WE RECOMMEND

  • Dress worm, wool and fleece is best
  • Bring extra wool socks, neck warmer and googles/sunglasses
  • Read all the information so you don’t miss anything
