Activenorth - Dogsledding on wheels

Come dogsledding on wheels with us along the trails in Skibotn! Our happy and friendly Alaskan Husky pack are happy to give you an experience to remember. You will drive a Troll cart where you drive 2 and 2 pers per cart. (The guide drives a cart with room for 2 pers)

The trip will last for approximately 1 hours and 30 min. We will have several breaks on the way, where you may help the guide provide water for the dogs. You will also have time for cuddling and pictures.


Meeting time and place:

You can choose between 10:45 or 11:30 for the trips.

Departure Tromsø meet at: Scandic Ishavshotel, at 08:45, departure at 09:00.


Drive self meet at: Activenorth AS, Gammelveien 142, 9143 Skibotn at 10:45 (contact us directly for booking without transfer)


The lunch will be served according to your chosen trip.


Program for the trip:

10:45 Arrival in Skibotn - 10:45

Group 1 (10:45) dogsledding on wheels first and lunch afterwards

Group 2 (11:30) gets lunch first and dog sledding on wheels afterwards

15:00 Time to say good bye

  • Transfer from Tromsø


We recommend that you have warm undergarments on cold days. Wool and fleece is the best. The dog sledding on wheels will be mildly physically challenging.
