Description
Meet and Feed Reindeer at Lyngenfjord HotelUpon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from our hotel hosts.
Your experience begins with a visit to our reindeer enclosure, where you can get up close to these beautiful animals, feed them by hand, and capture unforgettable photos. Reindeer have played an important role in the life and culture of Northern Norway for generations, and this is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about these fascinating Arctic animals.
After meeting the reindeer, you will be invited into the hotel's traditional Sámi lavvu. Here, you can enjoy the cosy atmosphere around a crackling fire, warm up with a delicious hot drink, and experience the peace and tranquillity that make winter in Northern Norway so special.
After your reindeer encounter, a cosy and relaxing experience awaits you inside our traditional lavvu.
Here, we serve hot drinks and the hotel's delicious homemade reindeer soup, inspired by local culinary traditions. A flavourful and warming Arctic dish, perfect for enjoying while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear and dance across the sky above you.
Get up close to our beautiful reindeer, feed them straight from your hand, and experience a magical encounter with these fascinating Arctic animals.
