Celebrate the turn of a New Year in the famous Lyngen Alps in Northern Norway. Experience the polar night, look for the northern lights and enjoy exciting winter activities such as dog sledding and snowshoeing. New Year Eve will be celebrated with a special dinner at our restaurant.
29.12.: Arrival and Northern Light workshop
Pick up and transfer from Tromsø at 14:30 (a later time can be arranged). The drive to XLyngen takes about 2-2,5 hrs included a ferry ride. Arriving at XLyngen you get to check in to your rorbu or apartment and have time to relax a bit before dinner and the northern light workshop. Where you will learn about the northern lights and also get some tips on northern lights photography.
30.12.: Snowmobiling, spa
After enjoying breakfast in the restaurant, which offers an amazing sea view, we will get ready for the days activity, snowmobiling. Returning to the accommodation you will be served afternoon coffee and some snacks. Use the rest of the afternoon to relax or explore the surrounding area.
Dinner will be served in the restaurant and you can end the evening with a spa evening. Making use of the sauna and outdoor jazucci.
31.12.: Snowshoeing and New Year’s Eve dinner
After enjoying breakfast in the restaurant, which offers an amazing sea view, we will get ready for our snowshoe hike to Lyngstuva. This takes you to the northernmost point of the Lyngen peninsula, be prepared for lots of fresh sea air. We will eat our packed lunch during the hike. Returning to the accommodation you will be served afternoon coffee and some snacks. Use the rest of the afternoon to relax or explore the surrounding area.

01.01.: Free day, Northern Light Safari
After enjoying breakfast in the restaurant, you have the day to yourself. Explore the surroundings, relax or join in on another activity.
After dinner we will head out for a Northern Lights Safari by snowshoes.
02.01.: Breakfast, transfer to Tromsø
After enjoying breakfast in the restaurant, it is time to check out and return to Tromsø. In Tromsø around 13.00
