Reindeer Feeding and Sami Culture with Lunch in Autumn - 1pm departure

This unforgettable Arctic adventure takes you through the changing colours of the Northern Norwegian autumn, as you are surrounded by freshly snowed mountain peaks and beautiful fjords. Meet and feed friendly reindeer, enjoy an introduction to Sámi culture and traditions, and gather for a warm homemade meal inside a cozy lavvu. Guests can choose between traditional bidos, a classic Sámi reindeer stew, or a vegetarian and gluten-free option. A perfect way to experience the magic of the Arctic autumn season.
Includes:
· 50 minutes of scenic transfer to camp and back to the city
· Feeding our reindeer
· Traditional lunch with Bidos (or a vegan option: a Norwegian style vegetable soup with potatoes, turnip, carrots, onions, leek, salt, pepper, spices and broth, gluten free), bread, margarine, cookies, hot cocoa, coffee and tea
· A 30 minute introduction on Sami culture given by an authentic Sami guide
· Hat, mittens, scarf, waterproof and windproof jacket, waterproof boots or shoes (we suggest not wearing sneakers, especially white ones!)
