Explore the Arctic - a northern lights adventure in Northern Norway

Explore the unknown region north of Tromsø! Your very own northern lights adventure in Northern Norway. The villages Storslett and Sørkjosen give you the opportunity to have a look into the Northern Norwegian life far away from the beaten track. The Reisafjord, the Reisa valley and the Reisa National park are rich in Sami and Norwegian culture and a treasure for all nature lovers. 

Itinerary

1. Day: Arrival 
Check in at Reisafjord Hotel in the afternoon. After dinner it is time to get ready for your northern lights snowshoe tour.

2. Day: Dogsledding in the Reisa valley
Start of the day with a good breakfast, before heading out for the dogsledding in the Reisa valley. The dogsledding activity lasts for about 2 hours, where you get to drive your own team. 2 people share a sledge one is the musher (driver) while the other is a passenger. During the trip we switch. A hot meal and drinks will be served. Arriving back at the hotel coffee/tea and waffles are available during the afternoon.

3. Day: Snowmobiling and ice fishing
Start of the day with a good breakfast, before heading out for the snowmobile and ice fishing tour. After a short transfer, your guides will bring you into the mountains with a snowmobile. You will sit in a sledge. Arriving at the frozen lake, you have the chance to try driving a snowmobile by yourself. Later we will go by snowshoes to the frozen lake where we drill some holes into the ice and try our luck with fishing. Warm drinks and a warm meal will be served. After around two hours, we return back to the hotel.

Arriving back at the hotel coffee/tea and waffles are available during the afternoon.

4. Day: Departure
Start of the day with a good breakfast, before checking out and travelling home.
